Journeyman Electrician

Reports to:

  • Master Electrician

Overview: ANCO is looking for dedicated Electricians seeking a fulfilling career working on a variety of commercial and utility projects. ANCO offers mentorship, career progression, great pay, and benefits. As a Journeyman Electrician, you will install and maintain the electrical wiring, fixtures, equipment, and systems on-site. The ideal candidate has at least 4 years of experience and is licensed to perform unsupervised work that is expected to meet NEC compliance.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the work of an Apprentice Electrician in various tasks.
  • Read blueprints and possess extensive knowledge of electrical systems and wiring.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, test meters, and diagnostic equipment.
  • Exhibit excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills and Physical Requirements:

  • High mechanical aptitude, good with hands, organized, and analytical.
  • Endure prolonged periods of sitting, standing, kneeling, bending, and climbing ladders.
  • Possess physical strength to pull wires and cables through conduits.
  • Frequently lift and move items weighing up to 75 pounds.
  • Comfortable with heights.
