Position Summary

The Project Manager is responsible for leading construction and infrastructure projects from preconstruction through closeout. This role oversees budgeting, scheduling, subcontractor coordination, procurement, customer relations, safety, quality, documentation, and overall project performance.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, construction-focused, and able to manage multiple projects while working closely with field teams, subcontractors, vendors, customers, and company leadership. Occasional travel may be required to support job sites and maintain customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple construction projects from award through closeout.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and resource plans.
  • Monitor labor, equipment, materials, subcontractors, and overall project costs.
  • Manage procurement, purchase orders, delivery logistics, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.
  • Coordinate with Construction Managers, Crew Chiefs, field staff, and subcontractors to support efficient field operations.
  • Conduct project meetings, crew coordination meetings, and client updates.
  • Build and maintain strong customer and stakeholder relationships.
  • Ensure compliance with contracts, company policies, safety requirements, and quality standards.
  • Track project performance, identify risks, and provide regular updates to leadership.
  • Manage project closeout, punch lists, warranties, inspection reports, and turnover documentation.
  • Support team development and leadership of field and project staff.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of project management experience in construction, infrastructure, utility, civil, wireless, commercial, energy, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, scheduling, estimating, budgeting, procurement, project controls, and contract administration.
  • Experience managing subcontractors, vendors, self-perform operations, and field teams.
  • Strong leadership, communication, organizational, financial management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining strong attention to detail.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally.
  • Project management or construction management certifications preferred.
